Our Story

Established in 2017, Patterson’s Garden Co. grew from a simple idea: providing quality garden supplies to our local community. Founders Blake and Sarah Patterson saw a need for dependable products and friendly service in north Murfreesboro and opened a home and garden shop to meet that need. What began as a convenient stop for landscapers quickly grew as homeowners joined us, trusting us to help with their own gardens and outdoor spaces.

Blake, a Lascassas native, has worked in the landscape industry since 2008 through his company, Superior Property Solutions, offering landscaping, irrigation, and hardscape services across Middle Tennessee. Sarah, originally from Moline, Illinois, brought a fresh perspective and thoughtful attention to detail that helped shape the welcoming, family-focused shop it is today. This isn’t just their business—it’s a place where they’re raising their little girls and teaching them the value of hard work, kindness, and community.

Our Philosophy

We believe in being good stewards of the land while building community. Roughly 75% of our plants are grown by us in our on-site and off-site greenhouses, so you can feel confident you’re getting fresh, healthy products. We also offer organic, recycled, and sustainably sourced mulch as part of our commitment to responsible gardening. When you shop with us, you’re not just helping your landscape grow—you’re helping care for the environment too.
